Im gonna preorder and it and was just wondering.

This is the beta schedule

* Closed Beta Event #5 July 31-August 3 Focus: Elyos and Asmodian levels 1-30
* Closed Beta Event #6 August 14-August 17 Focus: TBD

So, does that mean that beta will open for 4 days then shut off again until August 14 ? I don’t get it, will I still be able to play?

aion beta is only open on certain weekends then closed again until they decide to reopen it.

Did you pre-purchased the game to play in the beta? As in pay to play in the beta? if you did then you just need to pay the monthly subscription.
If you got the free beta-client then you need to pay for the game, either physically in a store or from NCSofts homepage as a digital download.

I pre-purchased, got to play in the beta, and got a lot of in-game goodies once the game went live. I have not regretted it for a second.

I’m planning on buying the pre-order for the new MMO called Aion that is currently in beta so I have a few questions since I haven’t been able to find any information online.

When Aion releases, will characters and stats created during the beta events transfer over to the official version?

If you joined a guild, will your character stay in the guild for the official version or will guilds reset?

A friend of mine told me that he payed $ 5 for the pre-order. If you pay $ 5 and then decide you don’t like the game while playing the beta, are you under contract to pay the remaining $ 45 or can you just not pay the rest and not recieve the actual game?

These are fairly simply questions. I will be more than happy to answer them.

1) Aion will release on the 22nd of September, you will not get to keep anything from beta events, currently in the beta, each character is saved for each event, they do not get wiped. They will get wiped prior to Open Beta, and then prior to the headstart pre-orders get which is after Open Beta ends.

2) Everything will be wiped, including guilds. You will have to start fresh, so if your guild plans to play release, and wishes to keep players they have in their guild currently, they should make a website for you guys to join and contact eachother from there for server information and what not.

3) If you pay $ 5 for the pre-order you will not have to pay the entire amount if you decide to not get the game, you will just not be able to receive the $ 5 back. The only exception I know of at the moment, is if you bought the game from NCSoft’s store, they will not refund you anything as they charge for the full retail price, so you would be out of $ 50.

What flaws did u find in this aion beta.? I found that sometimes id walkforward then get teleported back where i started. What about u?

I didn’t get any flaws at all when I was testing the beta. The only problem I had was the quest where you have to wait for the girl to leave so you can steal her gown, and another quest when I was like level 12 with the viscous wolves or w/e. Couldn’t get them to count towards the quest.

If you want a free closed beta key, go hug around the fan sites waiting for them to give away keys, or you can go pre-order the game and get a key for $ 5 for all events up until the day the game is released.

Anyone know whats is the best pvp class so far in Aion? I played a mage up to lvl 10 and got kinda bored since you just stand in one spot and shot fireballs, then started an assassin which I thot was much funner to lvl .. Just want an opinion from Beta players whats would be better mage or assassin as pvp

The large majority of pvp in Aion is group-based, and as such, most of the classes are very well balanced, so I would suggest to you to simply play the class that fits your style, as all sorts are needed in pvp. Also, if you think a mage does nothing but sit still in pvp… perhaps you should watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJ2-Xl–zNk =)
