Question by Sealey554: i recently purchased Aion, but the gameplay is too choppy. what can i do?
I have already installed the latest graphics drivers available to me and turned the settings down as far as i can to help it run better, but it is still so choppy that i can’t play it. Please help me
i tried some forums, it seems a lot of people are unhappy with their performance as well. I can conclude that I have been robbed.

Try just reducing the video quality of the game itself in the video options. Login to the game, and go into the settings. Reduce first the video size, from say 1024×768 to 800×600 and see if that helps. If it does, then you have two options. You can buy a bigger video card, or keep playing at the lower resolution. These new games like Aion, require a lot of video ram. It has been this way ever since the aion beta. As an alternative, if you like the higher resolution is to just change the quality of the video, you can reduce the drawing distance or clipping plane, turn off shadows, etc. Anything you see in that menu will help but it just sounds like you need a new video card.
